• Robert Michael Brackett, 27, 800 Red Clay Ave., No. 2, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with drugs in wrong container, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug-related objects and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Loyal Franklin Elam III, 46, 807 W. Crawford St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Julie Joy Jones, 40, 3530 Gilleland Extension, Apt. C, Gainesville, was charged Monday by the Eton Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• John Ralph Ledford Jr., 72, 1314 Ludie St., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking.

• Griselda Lugo, 25, 395 Florence Ave., No. 5-C, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with first degree forgery and financial identity fraud.

• Jeffery Lee Neely, 45, 216 Springs St., Varnell, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Bobby Joe Nuyen, 34, 417 N. Sixth Ave., Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with cruelty to a child, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, willful obstruction of law officers, windshield/wiper violation, tag violation (intent to conceal), operating vehicle while registration suspended or revoked, no insurance, unlawful use of license or ID card, fleeing, reckless driving and child safety belt violation.

• Luis Rendon Jr., 35, 1070 Mount Vernon Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with trafficking in cocaine, possession with intent to distribute meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jose Luis Rico, 55, 398 Gryder Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with first degree forgery.

• Darren Lydell Tate, 39, 216 Scobie Ave., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• David Bruce Ward, 49, 383 Silver Creek Road, Blue Ridge, was charged Monday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Bobby Joe Ketchem, 59, 38 Stapp St., Ringgold, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with terroristic threats and acts.

• Samuel David Long, 47, 4505 Crest Way Drive, Cohutta, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and taillights violation.
