Learn about the newest exercise trends, browse beauty products and check out nutritional supplements — all for free — at the inaugural Health, Mind & Body Expo on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The expo will be at the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center and is presented by The Daily Citizen and Hamilton Medical Center.
“We are very excited about the expo on Saturday and look forward to bringing this informative event to the community,” said Jennifer Byrd, Daily Citizen events coordinator.
Health professionals will speak throughout the day on topical issues in the health care field. Hamilton Medical Center personnel will offer many diagnostic tests along with informational items. A wide variety of wellness options ranging from massage therapy to personal training will be available. Golf packages, door prizes, gift cards, samples and cash, all totaling more than $1,000, will be given away.
There will be a number of health booths representing area businesses. Attractions include a Clean Living Pavilion featuring “green” home, garden and household items and a children’s inflatable play area.
There is no admission charge for the expo. For information about the event, visit www.hmbexpo.com.
