I-75 North is shut down around the Carbondale exit at mile marker 326 as Georgia State Patrol troopers work three wrecks, with some injuries reported. A state patrol operator said the interstate could be shut down for another hour or two. All three lanes are shut down.
A Whitfield 911 operator said a call came in at 5:06 p.m.

A man police say was murdered when his attacker ran over him in his yard with a pickup truck told a 911 operator the offender broke in his house and began threatening him.
