A single-vehicle wreck in Dawnville Wednesday evening sent a mother and child to the hospital, but both were OK that night, officials said.
Georgia State Patrol Trooper Kenny Moss said there was a car traveling north on Dawnville Road.
“(The car) ran off the roadway, lost control, hit a ditch, struck a culvert, went airborne and hit a tree,” Moss aid. “A 6-year-old and the mother, who was 25, were transported to Erlanger hospital (in Chattanooga). They were both stable and OK when I left the hospital (Wednesday evening).”
