Five taken to hospital after head-on collision near Dalton Utilities

DALTON — Five people have been transported to Hamilton Medical Center following a two-car crash on V.D. Parrott Parkway around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

The Dalton Police Department reports the accident was a head-on car crash between a Jeep Cherokee and a large sewer and drain service truck. There were four passengers including one young child in the Jeep and one driver in the truck.  The Traffic Unit is investigating. All five involved were transported by ambulance to Hamilton Medical Center.



VD Parrott Parkway is closed near Dalton Utilities.
