Police to conduct ‘Operation: ID Please’

DALTON — The Dalton Police Department will be conducting operations at area restaurants and package stores in the coming days and weeks to check compliance with city ordinances prohibiting the sale of alcohol to minors.

The department conducts operations under the nickname “Operation: ID Please” several times throughout the year to make sure that area businesses aren’t selling alcohol to minors.
