Gordon Hospital welcomes Russ Couron

CALHOUN — Gordon Hospital officials are pleased to announce that Russ Couron has been selected to serve as director of nutritional services at the hospital.

According to Steve Hannah, chief operating officer for Gordon Hospital, Couron brings a wealth of experience in nutritional services management to the community hospital.

“We are very happy to have Russ join our team at Gordon Hospital,” Hannah said. “He has spent the last 24 years directing the nutritional services department at one of our sister hospitals and we are thrilled that he decided to relocate to our community.”

Prior to joining Gordon Hospital, Couron served as director of nutritional services at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for my family and I,” Couron said. “I’m very happy to be at Gordon and I look forward to serving our patients, staff and community.”

Couron and his wife, Margy, have a daughter, Abby, and they reside in Adairsville. In his spare time, he enjoys rollerblading, diving, biking, camping, golfing and traveling.
