The Erlanger schedule of classes and events for October 24-25 includes childbirth education. Registration is required. Childbirth Education
5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Erlanger East (Gunbarrel Road)
This childbirth education class/series is designed for expectant parents and taught by experienced OB nurses. These classes include stages of labor, relaxation and labor support techniques, hospital procedures, pain management options, after birth and home care for moms and in-hospital care for newborns. There will also be time for questions and answers. Registration fee is $75. Call Erlanger’s HealthLink at (423) 778-LINK (5465) to register.
Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Seminar
6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
SkyRidge Medical Center (Cleveland, TN)
Area residents who are overweight and /or with health problems related to obesity are invited to learn more about the Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery Center at Erlanger. It is a free seminar and registration is required. Call Erlanger’s HealthLink at (423) 778-LINK (5465) to register.
