Hamilton Medical Center’s blood bank recently received a successful inspection by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with no recommendations.
The three-day inspection included an audit of blood bank records and many hours of questions and answers.
Kenny Lowery, laboratory director, said he appreciated Charles Robinette, blood bank supervisor, and all the associates who participate in Hamilton’s transfusion services for upholding and maintaining FDA standards.
“It takes a village to make this work,” said Robinette.
