Dalton’s Katy Buckner made her first hole-in-one just six weeks after taking up golf.
Buckner, a 14-year-old eighth-grader at Dalton Middle School, recorded the ace this past Satur-day, using a 9-iron on the 127-yard, par-3 No. 12 hole at Nob North Golf Course in Cohutta.
Jody Buckner — Katy’s father — Michael Cole, Henry Van Antwerp and Anita Van Antwerp witnessed the shot.
