Dalton golfer adds to his collection of aces

From Staff Reports The Dalton Daily Citizen Thu Sep 29, 2011, 11:32 PM EDT

Dalton’s Mike Oric carded the third hole-in-one of his life at Chattanooga’s Council Fire Golf Club weekly pro-am event on Monday.

Oric used a driver to sink the 180-yard, par-3 No. 4, and turned in an 88 on his round.

His shot was witnessed by Rick Bowen, Curtis Phillips and Steve Rhyne.

$20,000 raised in contest for 2012 Special Olympics

Allen Behr is only 14 years old, but he still had enough game to show up a ton of adults.
The Dalton Middle School student was one of 12 people who had one shot at a million dollars Saturday evening in the Carpet City Rotary Club’s “Swing for the Green” fundraiser at Dalton Golf and Country Club.
