Dalton Golf and Country Club stormed from third place to a record-setting day on Sunday to win the Georgia Team Championship hosted by The Georgia Club in Statham.
DGCC members David Noll, who shot a six-under 66, Beau Bray (70) and Greg Brock (71) combined to shoot 9-under in Sunday’s best-three-of-four stroke play round for a two-day total of minus-15 345, a new Georgia Team Championship scoring record, according to the Georgia State Golf Association.
The Farm — led by Matt Oxford, Donny Phillips and Greg Cottrell — finished 17th at 11-over.
