The 17th annual Whitfield Healthcare Foundation Golf Invitational is scheduled for October 19 at The Farm. Sign-in begins at 10 a.m., followed by lunch at 11 and a four-man select shot event that will begin at 12:30 p.m.
The Foundation will award prizes to the first-, second- and third-place teams at a reception at the end of the tournament. Prizes will also be given for closest to the pin, par-3 poker, and longest drive on No. 18.
“This year, the hole-in-one contests will be sponsored by BMW of Chattanooga,” said Clay Miller, chairman of this year’s event. “The dealership will provide a three-year lease for a BMW Z4 Roadster to the golfer who aces a hole-in-one on hole No. 8.”
And the lucky winner of the par-3 poker contest will receive a complimentary golf gift package from Barnsley Gardens Resort.
“All proceeds from this year’s golf invitational will benefit the foundation’s current $5 million capital campaign goal raising support for Hamilton Medical Center’s Maternal and Infant Care and Emergency Care Services expansion projects,” said WHF director Sharon Love. “Emergency Coverage Corporation of TEAMHealth, Inc., has again stepped up with the lead corporate sponsorship of the tournament.”
