More local teams needed for mid-am

The Dalton Golf and Country Club is looking for more teams to fill its sixth annual Lowell Fritz Senior/Mid Am Challenge, which will take place Sept. 26 and 27, with a practice round on Sept 25.

The event consists of two 18-hole, best ball rounds pre-flighted by handicap with assigned tee times. All golfers must have an established handicap.

The mid-am age class is 25-49 and 50 and older for seniors.

The entry fee is $300 per team and includes breakfast (7:30-9:30 a.m.) and lunch (11:00 a.m.-2 p.m.).
