The Creative Arts Guild and Ballet Dalton will present their spring concert “Masquerade” in the Dalton High School Theater on Friday at 7 p.m., which will include Ballet Dalton, the Guild Dance Ensemble and Intermediate 4’s.
The school recital on Saturday, May 10, at 2 p.m. will include the entire dance school.
The dance faculty — Jessie Bonanno, Elizabeth Fisher and Kara Marcum — will present their choreography during both shows. Dance director Jessie Bonanno states, “The theme of ‘Masquerade’ this year gives a very mysterious and magical air to the performance. The beautiful costuming, accomplished, unique choreography and wonderful dancing come together to create an exciting show.
“We are very pleased to present our dancers who have worked so hard, and also such a varied performance that will peak anyone’s interest, from the person who knows little about dance to the most proficient dance enthusiast. From classical ballet to heart pumping hip hop and modern to pointe, this show brings it all.”
Additional choreographers participating in this production are Michael Hollier from Louisiana and Lonnie Davis from Atlanta.
Participating dance students are Holly Potts, Amy Brown, Emily Cook, Audrey Webb, Summer Blackwell, Alex DeFalco, Alice Workman, Yun Seol Cho, Isha Mittal, Emma Grace Bronson, Hannah Blackburn, Natalie Koop, Jillian Lowery, Maryellen Hagberg, Bethany Southerland, Chloe Ball, Alexus Jones, Carli Gazaway, Sophie Sirmans, Isabella Graffe, Fatima Sohani, Katie Day, Margaret Lim, Maddie Hagberg, Caroline Webb, Haley Hughes, Carly Clement, Abby Crossen, Chloe Sirmans, Pierson Brown, Allyson Heinlein, Bronte Rosenbluh, Beth Day, Kylee Crabtree, Kari Stinson, Sally Pavon, Charity Smith, Leah Shelton, Madeline Hughes, Reagan Smith, Isamar Alvarez, Sadie Hoy, Tatum McMullen, Evan Lewis, Preston Lewis, Emery Mullins, Elisabeth Staten, Ashley Smith, Margaret Coles, Sloan Hungerpiller, Tarah Owens, Cassandra Workman, Caroline Lawson, Rachel Carlson, Zoe Holcomb, Alejandra Lopez, McKinley Hopkins, Katie Johnson, Tess Shaheen, Meg Price, Esme Miller, Maslin Miller, Riley Bonanno, Ariana Usher, Jacob Fisher, McKenzie Morgan, Kate Havelin, Sally Noland, Surbhi Bhatter, Elizabeth Ramirez, Ashley Marquardt, Carlee Blankenship, Julianne Staten, Audrey Richards, Naomi Paniagua, Maddie Lowery, Eric Zock, Courtney Lewis, Anna Kate Sprites, McKenzie Gibbs, Abby Earle, Shelby Mhoon, Citlally Garcia, Ruchika Rathi, Adam Shaheen, Ximena Escamilla, Paige Hughes, Mya Watson, Angie Rangel, Shivani Makadia, Alicia Aguirre, Lili Aguirre, Ngan Nguyen, Malorie Noles, Virginia Leigh Lawson, Bern Valleriano, Paige Finley, Lizzie Baker, Chelsea Pope, Emily O’Brien, Lindsey Smith, Emily Lawson, Allie Mullins, Rosalyn Zock, Claire Kortum, Cinthia Rangel, Heather Kimsey, Laureane Urbain and Meg Scalise.
