DALTON —
The Next Step Early Memory Loss group will meet Sept. 13 at 6:15 p.m. at Oakwood Café in Dalton.
Next Step is a social support group for persons in the early stage of memory loss and their caregivers. The occasion offers the opportunity for couples to socialize with others who are living with early stage memory loss.
For more information about the group, please contact Laurie Parker at (706) 280-7891. It is sponsored by RossWoods Adult Day Services, the elder law practice of David McGuffey and the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Certified volunteer training will be held Sept. 17 at 9 a.m. at RossWoods.
All certified RossWood volunteers must complete the three-hour orientation provided and conform to all other requirements stated in the volunteer policy and procedure manual.

A caregiver support group will meet Sept. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. at RossWoods. A light lunch will be served.
