Atlanta Braves announce upcoming promotions

Upcoming promotions and specials for the next Atlanta Braves homestand:



Aug. 13 — vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 7:35 p.m.

• BRAVES T-SHIRT GIVEAWAY PRESENTED BY PEACHTREE TV: The first 10,000 fans will receive a “Braves Play Here” ringer t-shirt from Peachtree TV.

• LONG-HAUL BOMBERS PRE-GAME SHOW: The world’s biggest softball home run hitters will put on a longball hitting exhibition before the game.

• PUBLIX FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS: Enjoy the Braves game AND a spectacular fireworks show set to music following every Braves Friday home game.

 

Aug. 14 — vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 7:10 p.m.

• BRAVES CLUBHOUSE STORE SIGNING: Jonny Venters will greet fans and sign autographs from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Braves Clubhouse Store at the CNN Center.

• BRAVES BAND OF THE YEAR COMPETITION: Thomas Tillman will perform live in Fan Plaza before and after the game. Fresh off his CD release, this Georgia native brings his unique country sound to his original music and a great mix of familiar favorites.  

• MINI MOON PIE GIVEAWAY: The first 30,000 fans will receive free mini Moon Pies, and for fans who love a great photo opportunity, a four-foot Moon Pie will be on display in Fan Plaza to pose alongside.

 

Aug. 15 — vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 1:35 p.m.

• ALL-STAR SUNDAY: Meet Braves alumni every Sunday in Fan Plaza. Greg Olson, Charlie Leibrandt, Tony Brizzolara, and Bruce Sutter will sign autographs at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Q & A on the Fan Plaza stage.

• KIDS RUN THE BASES: In honor of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, we invite all kids ages 4-14 to run the bases after most Sunday home games, and select Saturday games. Fans can go to braves.com/promotions for the complete schedule.

• MOTHER-SON DAY: Create memories that will last a lifetime at The Atlanta Braves 2010 Mother-Son Day. All mothers are invited to bring their sons out to the ballpark to enjoy an afternoon of baseball at Turner Field. Each package includes a special discounted ticket, commemorative Mother-Son Day T-shirts, and a pregame parade around the field. Packages available now at braves.com/motherson.

 

Aug. 16 — vs. Los Angeles Dodgers, 7:10 p.m.

• BUCK BELUE BUCK NIGHT: All Upper Reserved Seats are only $1 during seven “Buck Belue Buck Nights” this season.  $1 Seats are available now at braves.com/tickets.

• TWO-FOR-ONE MONDAY: Two Golden Moon Casino Pavilion tickets for the price of one every Monday.  Two tickets for $28.

• RALLY FOUNDATION NIGHT: Every time Brian McCann hits a home run this season, nearly $2,000 is donated to the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research thanks to the generosity of fans who have pledged to support the McCann 16 HR Challenge. Fans can join the fight against childhood cancer on Monday by making a donation to the Rally Foundation in Monument Grove from the time gates open at 4:30 until the end of the second inning. All fans who give $5 or more, join the McCann 16 HR Challenge or make a Text2Give donation of $10 by texting RALLY to 85944 can be entered to win a Brian McCann autographed photo. Visit the Rally Foundation tent in Fan Plaza to make a donation or show your Text2Give donation receipt and be entered to win. A very special member of the Rally family, Jenna Rohrbach, will sing the National Anthem on Monday night in memory of her sister Alexa, who was diagnosed with childhood cancer and passed away in November of 2009 after a long and courageous fight.

• KNUCKLE UP FOR ANEURYSM RESEARCH WITH PHIL NIEKRO: Hall of Famer Phil Niekro and his niece Natalie, founder of the Joe Niekro Foundation, will participate in an on-field ceremony to help raise awareness for Aneurysm research in memory of Phil’s brother and Natalie’s father Joe Niekro. Fans can join the fight and Knuckle Up for Aneurysm Research by texting the word STRIKEOUT to 20222. By doing so, a $10 donation will be made to The Joe Niekro Foundation, an organization committed to aiding in the research and treatment of aneurysm patients and families. Aug. 17 — vs. Washington Nationals, 7:10 p.m.

• BRAVES PENNANT GIVEAWAY PRESENTED BY MARATHON: The first 5,000 fans at the game will receive a Braves pennant from Marathon.

• COCA-COLA TWO-FOR-ONE TUESDAY: Two Upper Reserved tickets for the price of one every Tuesday. Two tickets for $8. 

 

Aug. 18 — vs. Washington Nationals, 7:10 p.m.

• TOYOTA TWO-FOR-ONE WEDNESDAY: Outfield Pavilion tickets for the price of one every Wednesday. Two tickets for $24.
