Mountain biking event is Saturday in Dalton
The Northwest Georgia chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association will host a grand opening of Raisin Woods Mountain Bike Park at 1 p.m. on Brooker Rd. on Saturday.
The day will include a ribbon cutting, dedication of the park to Dalton native and former professional cyclist Saul Raisin, mountain bike trials, stunts by Doug White, fun bike games for kids and refreshments.
In addition, 25 kids’ helmets will be given away to lucky winners as well.
