— Tonight’s Murray County-Southeast Whitfield game will help raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation to fight breast cancer.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink, there will be pink balloons and pink cotton candy for kids, pink donation buckets will be passed to collect donations and pink T-shirts that say “Southeast vs. Murray Co., Tackle the Cure” will be sold, with a portion of the proceeds donated to For the Cure.
In addition, cheerleaders will throw out pink footballs donated by Hamilton Diagnostic Center, Tennessee Tech cheerleaders will be on the sidelines and the University of Georgia’s “Georgettes” dance team will perform at halftime.
