The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga will host “Meet the Mocs” on Sunday at Finley Stadium.
Fans can enjoy a free afternoon that includes the soccer home opener, an autograph session with all of UTC’s fall sports and a full practice by the Mocs football team.
Gates open to the public at noon, with the Lady Mocs soccer game kicking off against Tennessee Tech at 2 p.m. as UTC soccer returns to Finley Stadium for the first time since 2004.
There will be bounce houses available inside the stadium for all of the kids who come out to see the Mocs, concession stands will be open and the Mocs will give out free Popsicles to help beat the heat.
Following the soccer action, the football team will take its team picture. All of the Mocs will then head to the field for pictures and autographs with the fans. The autograph session will include the football, volleyball, soccer and cross country teams, as well as the UTC Spirit Group.
Posters and schedule cards for all teams will be available and fans will be able to take pictures and meet their favorite Mocs. The field will be cleared at 5:30 p.m., with the football squad returning for a full practice beginning at 6.
ESPN Radio-105.1 FM, the flagship station for Mocs athletics, will broadcast live from the field from 4:30-5:30 p.m. If you cannot make it to Finley Stadium, tune in and hear live interviews with the players and coaches.
