Hoops tourney’s goal to help feed the needy

From Staff Reports The Daily Citizen

A double-elimination men’s basketball tournament for ages 17 and older is scheduled for Nov. 19-20 at City Park School in Dalton.

Entry fee is $125, and the winning team will receive T-shirts and a trophy. Tournament proceeds will benefit Concerned Citizens of Dalton’s Thanksgiving Dinner to feed hungry families in need.

The deadline to enter is Saturday For information, contact Toni Pinson at (706) 264-7635.

Canned goods will also be accepted for donation at the tournament.
