Reminder: The Daily Citizen needs fall sports information

The Daily Citizen is still missing several fall sports schedules and rosters for area middle and high schools.

Athletic directors and coaches are urged to send their schedules and numerical rosters (where applicable) for cheerleading, cross country, football, softball and volleyball to sports@daltoncitizen.com. This information is used to compile the Weekly Prep Schedule, which appears each day in the “Scoreboard” section of the paper as well as online at daltonnow.com/events, as well as to plan coverage.

In addition, all high school coaches are reminded to report results as soon as possible after competitions by calling (706) 272-7732, 272-7734 or 272-7742. Results must be received by 10 p.m. to be included in the next day’s paper.

Middle school coaches should send results to sports@daltoncitizen.com. The area middle school roundup publishes twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays. Results from events played on Monday and Tuesday must be received by noon Wednesday to be included in Thursday’s roundup, while results from events played on Wednesday-Saturday must be received by noon Sunday to be included in Monday’s roundup.
