The Art Alliance of North Georgia recently set the art display titled “A Brush with History at the CVB” in the renovated freight depot at 305 S. Depot St. in Dalton.
The paintings on display depict historical landmarks, regional landscapes and Civil War themes. Paintings by Georgia artists Sandra Babb, Cathy Cooksey, Elaine Davis, Carol Hobbs, Sherry Hullender, Janice Kennedy, Tim West, BJ Wright and Durinda Cheek will be on display through the month of November.
The art show is in conjunction with the Convention and Visitors Bureau open house scheduled for Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. For more information, call (706) 270-1626 or e-mail beejw@charter.net.
