Fourth of July fireworks fun in Murray

The Murray County rec department, at 745 Chestnut St. in Chatsworth, will host fireworks on Saturday, the Fourth of July.

Organizers say there will also be plenty of food (homemade ice cream, funnel cakes, lemonade, blooming onion and more), games for the kids, a 30-foot water slide and a live band.

The festivities will kick off around 3 p.m. and the fireworks will start around 9:45 p.m.
