Mallory Ledford to perform at Ringgold Depot

Youthful talent is the focus at the Ringgold Depot at Depot Street and U.S. 41 on Friday, Feb. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in a special concert for the Share America Foundation Inc.

Mallory Ledford, 12, of Georgetown, Tenn. will bring her unique solo ministry. Ledford, who began performing at the age of 2, continues sharing her dynamic vocal range at venues from the First Baptist Church of Atlanta to the National Quartet Convention. For more information, visit malloryledfordministries.com.

Randall Franks, “Officer Randy Goode” from TV’s “In the Heat of the Night,” will be the master of ceremonies.

“Mallory is one of our most talented youth in Southern gospel music,” Franks said. “I know that she will bring a beautiful spirit for all our audience to enjoy. At such a young age, she shares her talents like a seasoned performer. Don’t miss this wonderful evening.”

Also performing is a Chattanooga favorite, Timiethea “Songbird” Delaney. Delaney formerly performed at the Station House at the Chattanooga Choo Choo and has traveled extensively sharing her music. She said she shares music that brings the joy of loving Jesus to her audiences. Her latest CD is “One Purpose.”

The event is a fundraiser for the Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship Fund. The Share America Foundation Inc., a Georgia nonprofit, presents scholarships to talented musicians who excel in the Appalachian musical arts.

Donations for tickets are adults, $5; children 5 and under free with adult. For more information, www.shareamericafoundation.org or www.myspace.com/shareamerica.
