Big Brothers Big Sisters hosts talent show and telethon

Big Brothers Big Sisters will have a talent show and telethon on Friday, Feb. 26, beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Wink Theatre in downtown Dalton. There will be 18 talent presentations and the audience will choose the winner.

The agency invites all community members. Admission is free. The event will be televised live on WDNN, Channel 10.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Georgia Mountains matches children who could benefit from more support and attention to volunteers who enjoy spending time with a young person. Volunteers may select the age of the child with whom they are matched. In the school-based program, the volunteer sees the child only in the school setting. The community-based program permits activities throughout the community.
