Early voting in Dalton under way; Chatsworth on Monday

DALTON — Early voting in the Aug. 10 runoff for statewide and local offices started Friday in Whitfield County and is scheduled to start on Monday in Murray County.

Early voters must go to the Board of Elections and Registrar’s Office in the Whitfield County Courthouse at 205 N. Selvidge St. to cast their ballot, or to the same office in Murray County at the Courthouse Annex at 121 N. Fourth Ave.

  • Absentee ballots going out Saturday in Whitfield

    Absentee ballots for disabled and out of town individuals will be mailed out starting Jan. 21, or as absentee ballot applications are received, said Kay Staten, Board of Elections registrar.
