Bagley landscape team has good showing
The Bagley Middle School FFA nursery landscape team recently placed third out of 20 teams throughout Northwest Georgia during a contest at North Metro Technical College.
Bagley FFA was the highest placing middle school team. The team had to identify 50 common plants used in the landscaping industry and take an exam, which tested each student’s knowledge in plant physiology, growth, reproduction and the horticulture industry.
Team members are Nich Bartley, Madison Johnson, Samantha Stafford, Kimberly Wright, Haley Mays and Aaron Granger. They thank Keller Outdoor, which allowed the students to come to its facilities to practice identifying plants before the competition.
