Community invited to Cedar Ridge Elementary ribbon cutting on Monday
The community is invited on Monday to celebrate the grand opening of Cedar Ridge Elementary. After Cedar Ridge students lead a brief ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m., they will lead guests on tours of the building.
Everyone is welcome to visit this unique facility that was built with funding from the ESPLOST (education special purpose local option sales tax).
Voters who supported the ESPLOST allowed us to collect the financial support needed to build new schools, upgrade technology and improve the quality of education in all of the Whitfield County schools. Their support helps us achieve our mission to increase student learning by providing students and staff with meaningful, challenging and engaging educational experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
