The Murray County High School varsity rifle team recently traveled to Cass High School where it defeated the Colonels by a score of 1020 to 847.
Junior Brian Smith led the Indians with a score of 273. Joseluis Diaz followed with a 266. David Martin and Courtney Hayes shot scores of 242 and 239. Alexxas Nieves shot in her first varsity match and finished with a score of 212.
On Tuesday the Indians will meet Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe and Lafayette at home.
