DSC students plan rally to protest budget cuts
More than 200 Dalton State College students gathered Thursday afternoon for a town hall style meeting to question college leaders regarding state funding cuts they were told could result in the elimination of entire degree programs.

Dalton State College must shave an additional $2.4 million from its fiscal year 2011 budget. To meet this number, college president John Schwenn outlined a number of cost-cutting moves. “Everything is on the table,” he said.
