Jamie Upton has been promoted to vice president of Cohutta Banking Co.
Upton was previously an assistant branch manager and has been with the company for five years. She received a bachelor of science degree in organizational management from Covenant College in 2007 and is a 2010 graduate of the Bethel University master of business administration program.
Upton is a past co-president and board member for the New Hope Elementary Parent Teacher Organization, New Hope Elementary school council member, Junior Achievement board member and volunteer, vice president of the Kiwanis Club and a 2007 graduate of Leadership Dalton-Whitfield. She and her husband John have two children, Barrett, 10, and Ashley, 8. They attend Grove Level Baptist Church.
“Jamie is very involved in the community and does an excellent job leading and developing her team,” said Larry Harrison, group vice president and Whitfield County community executive.
