Owen Carpet closed in Dalton

Owen Carpet Co., at 2752 Dug Gap Road, has closed its doors after 35 years in business.

Lee Daniel, an attorney for the owners, said the wholesale flooring outlet closed two or three weeks ago and the owners are trying to work with creditors. He said he did not know how many employees were affected by the closing.
