Castner promoted to partner
Mauldin & Jenkins, a Georgia-based certified public accounting firm serving the Southeast, recently promoted Chatsworth native Catherine Castner to partner.
Mauldin & Jenkins, listed as a Top 100 firm by the Public Accounting Report and named by Georgia Trend as one of the “Best Places to Work” in 2007, provides professional auditing, accounting and tax services, as well as business advisory services to multiple industries.
Castner has been with the firm for nine years and specializes in financial institution audits. Prior to joining Mauldin & Jenkins’ Atlanta office in 1999, Castner worked for the Georgia Department of Audits, where her responsibilities included auditing state agencies and boards of education. She received her bachelor of business administration in public accounting from Georgia Southern University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
