CHATTANOOGA — T he Chattanooga Area Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Chattanooga Bar Association is presenting the 2008 Fraud Seminar: WHAT IS THE TRUTH? An Examination of Deception within the Interview Process, with Don Rabon., on May 20th at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
This seminar will benefit anyone who would be put at a disadvantage by deception, including auditors, attorneys, human resources, loan officers, administrators, managers, investigators, security personnel and counselors.
Don Rabon recently retired as the Deputy Director of the North Carolina Justice Academy (Western Campus). He is the former manager of the Investigation Center of the North Carolina Justice Academy and the North Carolina Department of Justice. For more than 30 years, Mr. Rabon has been a much sought after speaker and instructor in the areas of Corporate Security Operations, Interviewing, Rapport Building, Interrogation, Persuasion, Detecting, Deception, Investigations and Investigative and Discourse Analysis.
Participants of his courses have included the United States Secret Service, the Behavioral Science Unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation at Quantico, VA, the U.S. Army C.I.D., the U.S. Army Intelligence-Counterintelligence, and the Central Intelligence Agency.
Mr. Rabon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from East Tennessee State University and is the author of Interviewing and Interrogation and Investigative Discourse Analysis.
The luncheon speaker will be Federal Judge Curtis L Collier. This seminar qualifies for both CLE and CPE educational credits.
