Schlotzsky’s has unveiled its newest “Lotz Better” re-imaged restaurant in the Dalton location off Walnut Avenue.
The new look features a bright, contemporary feel with a circle theme, a co-branding deal with Cinnabon, and a new service model where crew members hand-deliver food to the tables.
“It is an exciting time for the Dalton Schlotzsky’s location as we create an even better in-store experience for our guests,” said Allen Bentley, who co-owns the Schlotzsky’s in Dalton with his brother Chris. “The ‘Lotz Better’ look appeals to everyone, from adult to child, and provides a fun, fresh dining experience for the entire family. We’re thrilled to introduce our fans to the re-imaged restaurants and attract new customers with our fresh look.”
The refreshed vibrant color scheme and circle theme reflects the unique round sandwiches offered by the restaurant. There are also playful slogans and contemporary furniture and artwork. Everything, from tables and chairs to circular-themed local photography featuring tongue-in-cheek phrases, is contemporary and ... round.
“Part of our growth strategy is to reinvigorate the brand with a fresh, new look while still maintaining the core of our business — our food,” said Kelly Roddy, president of Schlotzsky’s, who added that the “Lotz Better” look will be applied to all new construction.
The Dalton re-image announcement stems from a larger, nationwide initiative to re-brand the entire Schlotzsky’s franchise system by the end of 2011. The system includes more than 350 locations. Company growth plans call for upwards of 700 locations by 2015.
The Dalton Schlotzsky’s is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Catering is available by calling (706) 217-2867. For more information, visit www.schlotzskys.com.
