DALTON — Chick-fil-A fans, the wait is over.
The restaurant at 1517 W. Walnut Ave. in Dalton, closed since Feb. 6 for extensive remodeling, will reopen on Friday at 6 a.m. There’s been a major renovation at the restaurant with an updated decor, new tables and chairs, fresh tile, upgraded restrooms and more.
The restaurant, which opened in April 1990, will host a customer appreciation day following the reopening. The date has not been announced. The renovation is part of the chain’s overall plans this year to improve 171 restaurants, including the full remodeling of 10 stand-alone and 35 mall locations, as well as expansion and improvement projects to more than 100 additional sites.
There is also a Chick-fil-A inside Walnut Square Mall.
