The Dalton-Whitfield Chamber of Commerce will host a “Wake Up … Whitfield” breakfast on Tuesday from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Dalton Golf and Country Club. Dean Robert T. Sumichrast of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business will offer a candid assessment of the current economic cycle.
Sumichrast’s forecast will include projections for the housing market, residential and commercial construction, job market trends and when he expects an economic recovery to begin.
