Networking is one of the most important things businesses can do. Come be a part of the premier networking event in Dalton and Whitfield County: Business Expo.
Business Expo will be on Thursday, July 12, at the trade center. The Expo is open to the public between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
“This is the 9th Annual Business Expo and we are proud to be able to continue to offer this exposure to our members and community,” said Member Services Vice President Beth Morrison. “The Renz Nest Catering Co. and the Oakwood Café, in conjunction with the Greater Dalton Chamber, will be hosting ‘Cookout on the Hill’ as part of the Expo this year. This cookout is in honor of National Small Business Week and takes the place of our traditional Cookout on the Corner.
“The combination of Cookout and Expo is a natural fit and was a huge success last year. Cookout’s mission to recognize small business and the Business Expo’s position as the largest opportunity for small businesses to be showcased in Northwest Georgia is a great marriage. We expect crowds of more than 600 attendees during Expo this year. We are excited to be able to work with local and regional business partners to make this event a success.”
The Business Expo theme this year is “Made in the USA.” Come learn about or show off your company’s products and services while networking and growing your business.
Although admission is free, there is a charge to be an exhibitor. The cost is $200 for an exhibit space. Only chamber members may exhibit in Business Expo and space is limited. More than 100 exhibitors have already reserved their space. You may call the Greater Dalton Chamber of Commerce at (706) 712-0949 to reserve an exhibit space for your business.
