Peebles plans to put store in former Goody's location in Calhoun
Peebles department store plans to put a store in Calhoun’s Indian Hills Shopping Center by the fall.
Virginia-based Peebles is expected to open its Calhoun location in the former Goodys department store space of the shopping center in September.
“We’re very excited that a good quality retailer is taking the space of another good retailer. Peebles is a great addition to that shopping center as well as to our entire community. We are so happy they have chosen to be a part of this community,” said Jimmy Phillips, president of the Gordon County Chamber of Commerce.
