Interstate wreck cleared

A wreck between a tractor-trailer and a passenger car that had Interstate 75 slowed down as emergency workers respond to reports of at least one injury has been cleared.

According to Whitfield 911 operators, the wreck occurred in the northbound lanes near the 336 mile marker, which is at the Dalton-Rocky Face exit. The call came in around 6:30 p.m.

Initial reports over the scanner were that a passenger vehicle was on fire and that one person involved was unresponsive.
