The moving of a house from Chatsworth to Tunnel Hill has been delayed and is now expected to roll down Walnut Avenue at approximately 1:15 p.m. or so, the Dalton Police Department says, The department says there may be traffic delays in the city.

The route brings the house down Walnut Avenue to College Drive, right on College Drive to North Tibbs, left on North Tibbs to U.S. 41 and then left on U.S. 41. The police department will pick up the convoy outside the city limits and assist it through the city.

Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during this time to avoid delays.
